چکیده

Kegiatan ilmiah bertujuan untuk mengetahui Manajemen Pemberian Pakan Benih Nila Nirwana (Oreochromis niloticus) Super Intensif Di Tambak Desa Teratak, Kecamatan Batukliang Utara, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan yaitu partisipasi aktif, observasi, wawancara. Data diperoleh selama kegiatan dianalisis secara deskriptif. dimulai dari persiapan kolam, media, benih, pengaplikasian bahan steroid, herbal probiotik, serta pengelolaan kualitas air. pakan benih nirwana diberikan sebanyak 3 kali sehari dengan 412 gram 21 hari dicampurkan steroid maskuinisasi atau pengarahan kelamin betina jantan. Setelah melewati campuran probiotik 1,5 kg 11 petak kolam benih. Padat tebar per 140.000 ekor, jumlah padat tersebut berhasil sampai pendederan pembesaran 110.000 ekor. Panjang awal pemeliharaan 1 bulan 2-3,5 cm. Pengelolaan dilakukan penambahan molase sesuai keadaan cuaca.

Strategies for Nile Tilapia (oreochromis Niloticus) Pond Culture

Different strategies for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) culture in ponds with a series of progressive inputs were compared. The sequential experimental stages to increase fish production through intensification were: 1) triple superphosphate (TSP) only; 2) chicken manure only; 3) chicken manure supplemented with urea or urea and TSP; 4) urea and TSP; 5) continually supplemental feeding; 6...

Tol2-mediated transgenesis in tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).

The Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is an important species in aquaculture and an excellent model system for laboratory studies. Functional genetic analysis using this species has been difficult because existing methods for producing transgenics are inefficient. Here we show that the Tol2 transposon system can be used to create transgenic tilapia with high efficiency. We constructed a line...

Maintaining Quality and Extending Shelf –Life of Tilapia Oreochromis Niloticus Fish during Storage at 4 ̊C

Keeping food quality among consumers is of high importance. In this study in order to maintain and improve the quality of fish meat, effect of pretreatment with polyphosphates have profound effects on the functional properties of the food products. Experiments were carried out to avoid drip during storage of Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)fish under modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).The resul...

A genetic linkage map of a cichlid fish, the tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).

We have constructed a genetic map for a tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, using DNA markers. The segregation of 62 microsatellite and 112 anonymous fragment length polymorphisms (AFLPs) was studied in 41 haploid embryos derived from a single female. We have identified linkages among 162 (93.1%) of these markers. 95% of the microsatellites and 92% of the AFLPs were linked in the final map. The map...

Interaction of Francisella asiatica with tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) innate immunity.

Members of the genus Francisella are facultative intracellular bacteria that cause important diseases in a wide variety of animals worldwide, including humans and fish. Several genes that are important for intramacrophage survival have been identified, including the iglC gene, which is found in the iglABCD operon in the Francisella sp. pathogenicity island (FPI). In the present study, we examin...
